Job Description

The SEO Analyst will be responsible for planning, executing and monitoring overall search engine performance for SEO campaigns. The SEO Analyst will work with the relevant SEO manager, SEO analysts, Outreach Execs and Client Services team to implement effective search strategies and track the performance of new and existing campaigns against agreed KPIs.

  • Responsible for SEO strategy and execution for clients
  • Deliver clear and concise strategies covering the core elements of technical, content, links and social.
  • Measure and analyse the success of SEO strategies and tactics and present learnings and recommendations for future campaigns.
  • Have a well-rounded knowledge of SEO, in particular the role of SEO within a wider digital marketing campaign and online activities
  • Produce detailed SEO reports pertaining to your work and the work of your team
  • Help plan, deliver and report on off-site / creative campaigns utilising the most appropriate techniques, avoiding risk and potential client penalty
  • To use a variety of proprietorial and third party tools to compile and draw insight from both company-specific, sector-specific and generic industry data, in order to better understand user trends and behaviour and add context to the performance on each account
  • Monitor and evaluate search results and search performance across the major search channels
  • Keep pace with the industry and utilise this knowledge for your clients
  • Any other duties reasonable and appropriate to post
Desired Skills:
  • At least 2 years’ SEO experience, capable of managing £500,000 income.
  • Understand client’s business, their brand values and their target audience – customer demographics and implement strategies to target these audiences
  • Demonstrate knowledge of client’s objectives and business results, both macro and micro.
  • Presents clearly and persuasively with enthusiasm and rationalisation
  • Ability to demonstrate high performance behaviours including influence, empathy, people development and team building.  Ability to analyse and resolve problems quickly and effectively.
  • Good internal and client interpersonal and communication skills
  • Sells ideas in a confident and convincing way
  • Understand the client commercial as well as SEO requirements
  • Passionate and motivated to work on any agency clients
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office Suite, Email and Internet and SEO tools. Fully proficient in Google Search Console and Google Analytics.
