Job Description

My client is a global marketing agency with capabilities across digital and offline. They have an SEO team of 7 people covering, technical, content and digital PR. Due to ongoing growth there is an urgent need to expand the team and I’m currently recruiting for an SEO & Content Specialist to join. The successful candidate will be an important member of the content team and work across a range of different clients.

You must be a team player but where needed, also be able to work on projects of varying sizes independently and/or lead small team projects. Ideally you would have 1-2 years’ experience working in a related role in a fast paced environment (agency preferable but not essential) producing high quality written content as well as managing the creation of visual and interactive content to engage with different audience groups. You must also have excellent communication skills, both internally and client facing.

You will be working very closely with the SEO Campaign Manager to drive our content efforts forward.

The role:
-Analysing audience segments to fully understand the target audience for any content
-Producing high quality content for clients whilst also taking into account SEO best practice
-Ensuring all content is well optimised
-Sourcing and editing imagery that forms part of the copy
-Conducting keyword research to understand where the opportunities lie for clients 
-Conducting content audits for competitor analysis
-Day-to-day communication with clients
-Keeping up to date with SEO news/blogs and looking for ways to improve  
-Testing new methods and suggesting new approaches 
-Participating in and leading brainstorming sessions 
-Create and manage content calendars for clients
-Assisting the Campaign Manager with the management of creative campaigns 

-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Exceptional attention to detail
-Good understanding of SEO 
-Good knowledge of HTML, CSS & WordPress
-Ability to adhere to different tones of voice when writing
-Excellent time management skills 
-Client facing experience
