Job Description

You will manage and support SEO in the efficient delivery of BAU projects and off-page campaigns. Your role will include both SEO project coordination and line management. For SEO project coordination, you will be responsible for understanding the required deliverables, ensuring projects are progressing to agreed timelines, supporting the SEO team when they need assistance and communicating with internal and external stakeholders to keep everyone updated. You will also be responsible for the line management of several SEO analysts, monitoring performance, setting objectives and ensuring career development. Some hands-on SEO and analytical work will also be required.

OBJECTIVES:
  • Manage a team of SEO specialists undertaking technical projects, data extraction, on page task and off page content distribution including organic social and YouTube tasks
  • Understand and manage all project outputs, including what is required, order of priority, format, etc.
  • Communicate SEO project progress regularly to relevant stakeholders, ensuring any issues affecting progress are reported quickly
  • Ensure that all datasets are understood and can be explained back to the team
  • Ensure the team members you manage understand the requirements of their roles, and set objectives for the next 6 to 12 months
  • Work out resourcing and time requirements for projects based on required outputs and create project roadmaps
  • Assign responsibilities efficiently to team members and ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner
  • Liaise with other members of the team and external suppliers to agree timings
  • Oversee the execution of comprehensive SEO projects according to the project specification
  • Validate SEO strategy, identify areas of weakness, suggest and test improvements and ensure robustness and validity of SEO projects
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

Essential
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in SEO  and proven track record in an international SEO role
  • Able to coordinate organic search strategies with the wider SEO team
  • Knowledge of on and off-page ranking factors and optimisation techniques
  • Confidence working within cross-functional, international teams
  • Digital content management (CMS) experience, understanding of HTML
  • Thorough understanding of how to identify organic search opportunities, set business-relevant KPIs, forecast the impact of activity on client KPIs and estimate expected return on investment
  • Ability to provide challenging tasks and assignments, hold frequent development discussions and construct and execute compelling development plans to help team members work towards career goals
  • Experience using third-party tools such as Google Search Console, BrightEdge, Moz, MajesticSEO, etc.
