Job Description

You will support each area within the SEO team, coordinating the efficient delivery of day-to-day
activities (BAU), projects and campaigns. You will be a focal point across the team for support and
delivery, as well as for other internal teams (such as Copy, Design, Websites, Marketing
Technology and PR).

You will be responsible for understanding the requirements, deliverables, timelines, dependencies
and priorities of each piece of work, ensuring projects progress to agreed timelines, supporting
the SEO team when they need assistance and communicating with internal and external
stakeholders to keep everyone updated. You will also be challenging each area within the team to
find the best way of delivering value; strategic direction is maintained by the team leads within
each area.

KEY AREAS:
  • Understand and manage all project outputs, including what is required, order of priority, format, etc.
  • Communicate SEO project progress regularly to relevant stakeholders, ensuring any issues affecting progress are reported quickly
  • Own and arrange meetings to keep team up to date
  • Ensure that all datasets are understood and can be explained back to the team and wider business
  • Ensure that all reports, requests and other information produced by you or the team have been checked for accuracy and formatted to the standards before passing on to other stakeholders
  • Establish resourcing and time requirements for projects based on required outputs and create project roadmaps
  • Liaise with other members of the team and external suppliers to agree timings
  • Suggest and test improvements and ensure robustness and validity of SEO projects
  • Actively seek more efficient ways of doing things for yourself and others and turn suggestions into actions
  • Develop a strong understanding of the products, competition, industry vertical and objectives of each market
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

Essential
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in SEO, digital or websites
  • Experience of managing team processes or resourcing – with demonstrable, positive results
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Good, demonstrable knowledge of SEO including on- and off-page ranking factors and optimisation techniques
  • Ability to learn quickly, assimilate information and propose solutions to problems
  • Confidence working within cross-functional, international teams, challenging assumptions where necessary and removing blockers
  • Experience working with third-parties
Desirable
  • Experience within the finance sector or a highly regulated industry, or genuine interest to learn about the industry
  • Experience working within a large organisation and project management experience
