Strategic Social Account Director

The Agency:
This role is to work within a global media agency on an exciting account to lead all social strategy and planning to align paid with content, earned and influencer teams to provide a true 360 approach.

Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with Client Lead and BD to deliver rationalised social media strategic-leadership and seamless collaboration.
  • Ensure our social strategy and planning remains market-leading and drive us to be constantly innovating on channels, formats, performance, data and analytics
  • Work with client, strategy and data teams to ensure our social product is integrated, innovative and utilises all the skills and capabilities we have within the agency
  • Utilise Sprinklr to demonstrate a clear return on investment to the clients and open up new content opportunities from the insights generated
  • Develop, maintain, and grow strong relationships with senior clients
  • Challenge and encourage client to think outside the box and take on new ideas, ways of thinking, and platforms
  • Effectively manage the delivery of the team, tech and platform resources to deliver against objectives
  • Be the Senior point of escalation for social media related client issues
  • Own our platform, trading, and tech partner relationships ensuring they are the most effective for the business and for clients and that we are accessing innovations as they develop
  • Ensure effective collaboration with creative agency
  • You will collaborate with other channel leads (Paid Search, Digital, and PPC) to ensure effective cross-channel strategy and seamless consumer journey

The Ideal Candidate:
  • Solid Social experience from a media agency background.
  • You should have experience of being the primary contact on a large sized piece of business 
  • A high energy, positive, can-do person who is always looking for ways to improve the account.
  • You will have knowledge of digital media, and ideally a good understanding of both brand and performance planning and an understanding of how to integrate the 2 disciplines
  • You’re passionate about social and keen to learn about exciting changes, updates and innovation in the social space
  • Attention to detail and accountability over client budget and finance process
