Job Description

I am looking for a passionate, talented Technical Artist to join a brilliant team at a AAA studio. The studio is currently working on an entirely new out-of-this-world sci-fi multiplayer, space trading and combat title.

You will be able to apply your expertise, correcting technical implementation of art content and solving art-related technological issues. Working closely with Art Production and R&D, you will play a key role in improving the existing pipelines as well as developing new tools for Art Production.

Responsibilities:
  • Effectively produce technically correct art content
  • Technical setup for asset use in CryEngine
  • Creating and improving scripts and pipelines for art asset production
  • Writing technical documentation
  • Providing guidance and assistance to Art Production
  • Full support of the Perforce branch
Required Skills and Experience:
  • 3DS Max/Maya/CryEngine and Photoshop knowledge
  • MaxScript/MEL proficiency
  • 2+ years game development industry experience
  • Ability to adapt
Desired Characteristics:
  • CryEngine experience
  • Perforce knowledge
  • Experience in scripting and programming languages e.g. C++/C#
  • Complex rigging knowledge
  • Shader knowledge
