Here’s an opportunity to be part of a dynamic and exciting organisation as part of their overall events team. It will be a chance to have a tangible impact managing the technical inventory and infrastructure at two of their high profile London venues in the role of Technical Manager.
Your time will be split across the two London sites working with the Senior Technical manager where you will ensure that all relevant kit is show ready and that the electrical infrastructure meets the standards needed for temporary installations within the context of live events. This means that daily you will prep, maintain and test a range of lighting,AV Audio and rigging equipment along with distro ,power ,plus network ,data ,comms and control systems and this will naturally allow you to contribute to the overall delivery of a varied portfolio of events held at both venues.
You will also be involved in a number of inventory management processes ranging from regular PAT testing, maintenance and audit programmes through to the the purchasing of new equipment as well as assisting the production team with technical support ,specifications and on site installation along with working closely with suppliers, other venue stakeholders and managing freelance crew.
You have a strong electrical background which has seen you work at large scale venues such as conference centres ,theatres or similar and you will have or currently be holding a senior position within these environments.You are knowledgable across all professional audio ,lighting ,AV and rigging equipment and this is supported by your technical insight with a venue’s network and electrical infrastructure.As a self starter you are happy working on your own or in a team ,you have high level of attention to detail, strong communication and people management skills. You also possess a high level of commercial acumen , an excellent level of H&S expereince and you are equally at home in the workshop as you are working on site.
