With over forty years of experience supplying technical services and solutions to the world of entertainment this London based company has developed a very strong and reputable name. They believe in a customer first attitude and are involved in a wide range of markets from corporate events to leisure. They now have an exciting opening for a Technical Support Manager to be based in the UAE.

About You
Your background will clearly illustrate experience as service engineer with knowledge of the technology used within the live events and entertainment world covering at least two of the following; AV, lighting and Audio. You have first-hand practical knowledge of a support and repair process including the ability to write site/service reports, RAMS SOPS and you can support this with a strong understanding of what is required to ensure that a show or production is delivered despite any technical obstacles. You are a good leader and manager of people and confident with your level of communication when providing technical support, advice and consultation. Planning, time management and professionalism are key components of your character along with knowledge of the UK market and the UAE region. As the role will involve some travel a full clean and valid driving license will also be required

The Role
The purpose of the role is to set up and mould a new business, working alongside the General Manager you will have a key role in building processes, training a team of local technicians and establishing the organisation within the region with the support of staff seconded from the UK. Working across a wide range entertainment assets and organisations such as Hotels, rental companies, theme parks and studios   you will provide technical support to existing and new customers and service level agreements in the Gulf region. The position has a very service orientated focus so you will be expected to manage the various processes covering maintenance, repair and agreed SLA’s. You will be the point of contact for customers to ensure that all technical issues are fully diagnosed, repaired and service contracts are adhered to.
