About The Role
Based at their headquarters in Hertfordshire you will be responsible for leading one of two shift teams to ensure the various warehouse procedures and policies covering the prep, testing and maintenance are executed to a high standard and meet the relevant team and department targets. You will play a key role in cultivating a positive, inclusive, safe and productive environment by guiding and managing your team in all aspects of performance (collective and personal), workload planning and organisation. As the figurehead for the team you are able to lead by example and always work with your team to continually add value and improve standards.
Your technical skills will not be neglected and the position will involve you being hands on when required, prepping, testing and maintaining a range of technical equipment used in event production covering lighting, audio and AV. A flexible approach to the role needed because your 40 hour week will involve a split shift between 7am – 9pm, a weekend rota/call out and additional evening work during busy periods in the year.
You are currently working in a technical production warehouse or similar environment where you have regular exposure to AV, audio and lighting equipment. You are confident with your technical knowledge and still happy to be hands on with the equipment. You’re either a Senior Warehouse Technician looking for the next step up or you currently hold a supervisory role and you are looking to move to a more dynamic and challenging environment. Naturally you have a high level of communication, you are confident with your decision making and you have an excellent level of planning and organisation.
