Head of SEO - London - £55k

My Client is a fun, vibrant and forward thinking digital agency based in London. 
They are looking for a head of their SEO team which consists of technical and outreach.

As Head of SEO you will be responsible for driving the development of the agency's Organic Search proposition. You will play an integral role within the agency developing a pipeline of new business, growing existing business and delivering excellence in performance marketing.

A core focus will be on creating and delivering sophisticated strategies, defining efficient team processes and building a passionate team around you.

Alongside this, you will lead the evolution of the Organic Search team and coordinate its integration with the content, bought media and other supporting functions.

You demonstrate:
- 4+ years of commercial SEO experience
- Team management experience
- Successful SEO campaigns and strategies within competitive markets
- An effective communication manner and a fluid and enthusiastic presentation style
- A strategic mind with financial forecasting and tracking experience
- A high standard of written and spoken communication
- Proven ability to lead and strengthen client relationships. 
- Demonstrate business acumen and a track record of success in performance media/ marketing services professionals. 
- Solid understanding of the financial and operational process of running a team.
- Commercial focus and entrepreneurial drive. 

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Working alongside the sales and account management teams to devise search strategies for current and future clients.
- Building, managing and supporting a team of analysts.
- Profitably managing search marketing activities, with responsibility for implementing and reporting on all campaigns whilst maximising the results of agreed strategies.
- Providing sales support to the business development team including client specific strategies for risk managed link growth.
- Identifying the best technologies to enhance our services, and to help position us as a leading player in the space.
- Seeking out and embracing fresh and innovative ideas to meet client requirements and to continue to position ourselves as a leading digital performance agency.
