Job description

If you are an experienced Director in the ATL media space and the idea of investing your experience with media planning and buying to help build out a traditional media practice within an already established agency appeals to you, then this role will be worth investigating.

This agency is already very successful within the realms of digital media and they currently have some traditional media services within their offering. They now require an experienced Media Director to help them grow their traditional media services from its current relatively embryonic phase to a fully mature and operational division across its offices in Europe and North America.

The key focus of your role is to ensure that agency’s offerings meet the expectations internally and externally within the industry, and you will have an impact and influence on how the agency grows into larger media offerings and client wins within traditional media to supplement its already successful digital media practice.

This role will suit you if you love the idea of moulding, not just your own future, but also the future of an already leading agency. It will be a great opportunity for you to provide a level of strategic leadership, innovation and vision as you navigate and lead the agency deeper into the realms of TV, print, partnerships, audio, and OOH campaigns and projects.

The ultimate goal is to build a team with a collection of subject matter experts, excellent resources and new business wins, and this can only be done with your own expertise that has been built on a successful record of media planning buying, measurement and successful campaigns across various verticals.

With experience spanning over. a decade your arms are deep in the pockets of media, planning, and buying, and your background clearly demonstrates:
  • Experience developing and growing outstanding teams of media planners and buyers.
  • Solid relationships with publishers and UK broadcasters
  • A growth and entrepreneurial mindset
  • An excellent record of growing clients with a high level of service
Market wise when you start, London will be your first port of call because there are new business pitches that will require your assistance and other needs for you to get your teeth into once you start. The mid to long-term goal will be for you to build out the traditional media function across the agency and this will see you having a visible influence in their European and North American offices.
