If you are a proactive social media maverick and you love the idea of being the go-to person for all things social media for a dynamic and exciting FinTech start-up, then this role will be for you.
The aim of this business is very simple, it's to help reduce the speed and costs for SME's to process and receive customer payments.
There is backing from key names in the FinTech world whose history and involvement include companies such as Paypal, Xero, and Monzo and with the product adding value to over 2000 businesses a day the company is already seen as one of the UK's fastest growing startups.
As the Social Media and Community Manager your purpose will be to grow the audience and customer base of the business giving it omnipresence on social media platforms like TikTok, Instagram and LinkedIn as well as online business communities and forums within the SME world.
Your role doesn't just exist online because you will actively go out and engage with the SME business community creating relationships, customers, and ultimately raving fans for this exciting product.
The method and means will be down to you and your creativity because you will have the autonomy to plan, strategize create, execute, and report on your campaigns and activities.
So, whether it's a livestream, a live event, or a customer success story you're the person driving it injecting character, personality, creativity, and humor.
This is a startup so the pace is fast agile and collaborative, and you will be in regular communication with the Content Manager as you work together on the social media strategy and roadmap as well as being a sounding board for the sales team sharing ideas around lead generation and engagement.
Working Pattern - Hybrid
- At least 3 years of commercial experience making social media content for businesses.
- Excellent proficiency with social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok and Facebook
- Naturally creative with an entrepreneurial flair.
- A good awareness of the UK SME landscape
- Excellent ability to self-manage and produce tangible results.
- Personable with a genuine desire to engage with people in the online and offline world.
